Set in the not to distance future Wa San Go is about violence in the Korean school system, the teachers that try to control it, and the students that live by it.
The main story is about Kyeong- su Kim. He has been expelled from 8 schools and is given one last chance to graduate. He is sent to the worst school in the country Wa San Go (Volcano High). Kyeong- su finds that the high school is separated into clubs. These rival gangs fight for dominance and in the hope of obtaining from the principle a legendary Scroll of power that would make them unbeatable.

Kim sees this as his last chance and has sworn off violence. The clubs have other plans.
The main clubs that Kyeong-so Kim must contend with are the Muscle club, the Rugby club, the Judo club, and the Kendo club. The Muscle club being the strongest gang and who’s leader Jang-Rhang has ties to the vice principle.

The other powerful club is the Kendo Club. It looks like an all girl gang and its leader Chae-I Yu or Icy Jade is the most sought after girl in the school.
The film moves along like many high school movies featuring slap stick comedy, teenage angst, romance, and peer pressure. Everything changes when the special teachers are called in to help control the growing violence after an attempt on the Principles life. The special teachers are all veterans of the teacher rebellions and have formidable martial skills. They show no mercy for students that get out of line. These teachers also know that Kyeong- su Kim is a powerful fighter and target him for final expulsion.

This film is a lot of fun but do not expect any REAL martial arts. There is a lot of wire work and special effects.  When you check this movie keep in mind the X-MEN instead of ENTER THE DRAGON.
Warning! Make sure that when you watch this movie that it is not the MTV version. Several years ago MTV replaced the original dialog of this film with its own script preformed by rap stars and pop music artist. Do yourself a favor and stay far from this particular variation.
